Ms. Nya Leigh Ryan is the daughter of Mr. Nicholas & Dr. Aisha Ryan, whose families derive directly from the beautiful sister islands of Trinidad & Tobago and is the oldest of 3 children. Nya is an amazing & well-rounded 13-year-old entering the 8th grade at Everett Meredith Middle School in Middletown, Delaware where she is part of the National Junior Honor Society. It is in this environment that she excels as a High Honor Roll student in the Spanish Immersion program.

Outside of school, Nya enjoys dancing, tumbling, singing, arts & crafts, listening to music, and reading. In the realm of dance, she has participated in her studio's Dance Performance Troupe where she has performed throughout the East Coast in various performances, festivals, and parades, including the Wawa Welcome America Gospel Event for Yolanda Adams, the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, Philly Tree Lighting, Juneteenth Parade, and Washington DC Cherry Blossom Parade.

Nya is excited to participate in the US Teen Caribbean pageant and to represent her extensive family lineage from the fabulous sister islands of Trinidad & Tobago!
