Kyle O’Garro-Moore was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was raised there during her formative years, but later moved to Rocky Mount, North Carolina. She is the youngest of four children and has a twin brother, Jared. She recalls her younger self, being part of a rambunctious trio that included herself, Jared, and her older brother Andre’. Kyle truly adores her family and believes the West Indian heritage plays a big part in that. As a Housing Specialist, she works through a program called Rapid Re-Housing, which was put in place by President Obama to subsidize housing for the homeless population of the United States. It is a yearlong subsidy program. Her duties include: interviewing homeless veterans, assisting them in apartment searches, and assisting them in finding resources to help them stabilize their rent after our program is over.
